This page explains the data used by the public Nautilus website.

Public leaderboard data

Nautilus publishes scores derived from publicly accessible website pages. The public dataset contains website-level scores and scoring metadata, not personal profiles.

Site lookup

The website lookup first checks the domain you enter against the leaderboard data already included in the page. When the domain is not on the leaderboard, the address you entered is sent to the scan service, which captures the public site and estimates a score; results may be kept to answer later lookups. No account is created either way.

While a live scan runs, you may optionally share the site's industry, your connection to it, and a score guess. Those answers are stored with the community scan for classification and research; they never change its score. Only the selected industry may appear publicly.

Arena voting

Blind arena votes are recorded with a random session identifier stored in your browser so repeat votes on the same pair can be discarded. The identifier is not tied to an account or profile. Where live compare panes are enabled, your interactions with a pane are relayed to a browser running on our servers for the duration of the session.

Removal requests

Whoever controls a listed website can ask for it to be taken off the public ranking at any time by emailing support@fuguux.com, preferably from an address at the site's own domain so the request is easy to verify.

External links

Links to FuguUX and other external websites are governed by those sites' own privacy practices. This policy may be updated as the site adds interactive services.
